Registered Cass county. Born, Amenia, N. Dak., Feb. 28, 1892, of American-German parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Fargo on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to death.
