Not a registrant, enlisted prior. Born, Fargo, N. Dak., Sept. 23, 1895, of Canadian-American parents. Occupation - student. Enlisted in the Navy at Minneapolis, Minn., on Feb. 25, 1916. Served on USS Texas, to May 28, 1917; receiving Ship, Norfolk, Va., to Jan. 6, 1918; Naval Hospital, Norfolk, Va., to death. Grade: Hospital Apprentice 1st Class, 309 days.
