Registered Pierce county. Born, Barton, N. Dak., Aug. 13, 1892, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Rugby on Sept. 3, 1918. Sent to Camp Grant, Ill. Served in 161st Depot Brigade, to Sept. 27, 1918; 22nd Company, Machine Gun Training Center, Camp Hancock, Ga., to death.
