Registered Cavalier county. Born, Walhalla, N. Dak., Oct. 30, 1896, of Canadian-American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Langdon on Sept. 4, 1918. Sent to Camp Grant, Ill. Served in 34th Company, 161st Depot Brigade, to death.
