Registered Mercer county. Born, New Leipzig, N. Dak., Oct. 18, 1894, of Russian parents. Occupation - carpenter. Inducted at Stanton on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery E, 338th Field Artillery, to death.
