Registered Walsh county. Born, Conway, N. Dak., Oct. 16, 1895, of Bohemian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Grafton on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in Battery C, 40th Field Artillery, to discharge. Discharged at Camp Dodge, Iowa, on Feb. 7, 1919, as a Private.
