Biography:

Registered Burke county. Born, St. Paul, Minn., July 28, 1895, of Bohemian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bowbells on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 45th Company, 12th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 18, 1918; Battery A, 42nd Field Artillery, to death.
