Registered Wells county. Born, Fremont, S. Dak., Dec. 8, 1889, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Fessenden on June 26, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 26, 1918; Company E, 313th Ammunition Train, to death. Overseas from Aug. 17, 1918, to death.
