Served at Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, Ill., to May 2, 1918; Naval Operating Base, Norfolk, Va., to May 10, 1918; USS Kentucky, to May 31, 1918; Receiving Ship, New York, N. Y., to June 5, 1918; USS Chattanooga, to Oct. 2, 1918; USS Comfort, to death. Grade: Fireman 3rd Class, 294 days.
