Not a registrant, enlisted prior. Born, Milton, N. Dak., March 30, 1891, of American-Canadian parents. Occupation - unknown. Enlisted at Grand Forks on April 26, 1917. Sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Served in Company F, 12th Infantry, to June 1, 1917; Company F, 62nd Infantry, to Aug. 20, 1918; Company F, 31st Infantry, to death. Grades: Private 1st Class, July 1, 1917; Corporal, Oct. 1, 1917; Sergeant, May 7, 1918. Overseas from Sept. 2, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Siberia.
