Registered Bottineau county. Born, Buxton, N. Dak., Dec. 12, 1892, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bottineau on July 31, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company No. 35, 9th Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to death.
