Registered McHenry county. Born, Denbigh, N. Dak., Feb. 9, 1892, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Towner on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery B, 335th Field Artillery, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Oct. 1, 1918. Overseas from Aug. 31, 1918, to death.
