Registered Foster county. Born, Prairie Du. Chien, Wis., May 12, 1888, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Carrington on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 40th Company, 10th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 14, 1918; Battery F, 40th Field Artillery, to death.
