Registered McKenzie county. Born, Freeborn, Minn., Feb. 2, 1892, of Swedish-American parents. Occupation - welldriller. Inducted at Schafer on Sept. 21, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery E, 338th Field Artillery, to death.
