Registered Wells county. Born, Howard Lake, Minn., March 10, 1894, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Jamestown on July 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 18th Company, 5th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 16, 1918; Company E, 10th Infantry, to death.
