Registered Cass county. Born, Greene, Iowa, April 3, 1892, of American parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Fargo on July 23, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 19th Company, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 18, 1918; Battery E, 41st Field Artillery, to death.
