Registered Bottineau county. Born, Carbury, N. Dak., Aug. 7, 1895, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bottineau on June 14, 1918. Sent to North Dakota Agricultural College. Served in Training Detachment, to Aug. 13, 1918; 59th Field Artillery Brigade, to Aug. 15, 1918; Battery F, 125th Field Artillery, to death. Overseas from Sept. 24, 1918, to death.
