Biography:

Registered Grand Forks county. Born, Hatton, N. Dak., July 21, 1894, of Norwegian-American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Grand Forks on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Machine Gun Company, 352nd Infantry, to July 18, 1918; 6th Company, 2nd Training Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 27, 1918; Machine Gun Company, 351st Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 15, 1918, to death.
