Served in 25th Company, 7th Battalion, 166th Depot Brigade, to June 18, 1918; Company A, 159th Infantry, to Sept. 20, 1918; Company A, 307th Infantry, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Sept. 1, 1918. Overseas from Aug. 8, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sector: Foret-d'Argonne (Lorraine).
