Registered Emmett county, Iowa. Born, Bancroft, Iowa, June, 1890, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - unknown. Inducted at Estherville, Iowa, on July 21, 1918. Sent to Camp Pike, Ark. Served in Company E, 1st Infantry Replacement and Training Regiment, to death. Grade: Corporal, Aug. 21, 1918.
