Military Background:

Over 23 year member of the North Dakota Army National Guard served as Non-commissioned officer up to and during tour in Iraq. Accepted direct commission to officer upon returning from Iraq.

Conducted overseas missions in Honduras (2), Panama, Korea (2) and Germany.

Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom I 2003-2004. Deployed with the 142nd ECB and served throughout Iraq from Ar Ramadi, Falujah, Baghdad to Balad.

Currently instructing engineer tasks at the Regional Training Institute at Camp Grafton Devils Lake. The ND RTI trains all construction and combat engineers for the US Army.
