It’s time to get ready for the annual Cable One Open Golf Tournament! Four man scramble.
This year’s tournament will be held at the beautiful Moorhead Country Club on September 15th. Registration at noon. Shotgun start at 1:00PM
We will be honoring the Wounded Veterans of our great nation’s military services. Not only will there be many of our nation’s wonderful veterans there and a great military theme, we are going a couple notches over and above! We have selected a young man from Grand Forks, ND, who lost his left leg just below the knee in Iraq during Operation Dessert Freedom. He has no idea he has been selected yet, only his family knows at this point. We are hooking up with the Outdoor Channel and Cabela’s to surprise him on a weeklong bow hunt with Outdoor Channel’s Archer's Choice TV Show and the President of Marketing for Cabela’s. The hunt will be filmed for the show! We will be taking care of a shopping spree to Cabela’s and all taxidermy/ processing fees for the hunt as well. Any money left over will remain with the Impact - Support Our Veterans Fund to use as they see fit on another deserving Vet. PRETTY COOL STUFF!
As with any event of this caliber, it takes a great team of sponsors to make it happen. Yup, here comes the pitch.
