Sales and Use Tax

North Dakota Sales and Use Tax Rate Locator

Welcome to the Tax Rate Locator! This site was developed as an electronic resource for identifying sales and use tax rates by using a nine-digit zip code. Users may simply select the period when the sale was made and enter a nine-digit zip to identify applicable state and local sales tax rates on a sale.

For those instances where the entire nine-digit zip code is unknown, a user may find the appropriate nine-digit zip code through the United States Postal Service Zip Code Lookup function. Entering only the five-digit zip code may result in an incorrect result.
