1999 Financial Institutions Tax Program

Obtain Financial Institutions Tax Program

The 1999 Financial Institution Tax program was updated to make it year 2000 compliant. Because of the size of the new program, downloading the program from the Internet is no longer possible without the use of Microsoft Access 2000. For this reason, we have placed the program on a compact disc (CD). To obtain this software CD, email the Office of State Tax Commissioner on our Feedback page or download the 1999 Financial Institution Tax Program CD Request Form - (9kb pdf).

Download the Financial Institution Tax Program and Run in Microsoft Access 2000

If you have Microsoft Access 2000 installed on your computer, you can download the 1999 Financial Institution Tax Program and run it in Access 2000.

Download the file 99FIT.EXE (1.18 MB) to your computer by clicking the Financial Institution Tax Program below. Run the 99FIT.EXE file to extract the 99FIT.MDB file (5.6 MB), by default it will extract it to the C:\99FIT directory. Start Access 2000 and open the 99FIT.MDB file to run the Financial Institution Tax Program.

Warning: This program works only with MS Access 2000

Install the Financial Institution Tax Program Using the Software CD

Close all applications before beginning the installation.

Insert the 1999 Financial Institution Tax program CD into the CD ROM drive. Open Windows Explorer and double click on the "setup.exe" file in the CD ROM drive. The program may prompt you to update files. Choosing yes will cause your computer to reboot. You will then have to again double click on the "setup.exe" file.

If you have Microsoft Access 2000, you will be welcomed to the ND Financial Institution Tax program and asked to click the button to install the program.

If you do not have Access 2000, setup will close and launch the Microsoft Access 2000 Runtime setup program. Once the installation has been completed successfully, you will be welcomed to the ND Financial Institution Tax program and asked to click the button to install the program.
