Federal/State ELF for North Dakota returns is open to participants who have been accepted into the IRS e-file program. Once accepted by the IRS, EROs are automatically accepted into North Dakota e-file. No separate North Dakota application is required.

  • North Dakota recognizes the federal personal identification number (PIN) as the signature for the North Dakota returns.

    The ERO must retain any attachments such as W-2s for three years after the return is due, including extensions. In the event the STATE requests the attachments to verify the electronic return, the ERO will be required to submit it to the STATE within five business days.
