Serving as an Election Worker
Are you interested in serving your community, state, and country while helping preserve and protect one of our most important freedoms - the freedom to vote?
If so, you may want to think about serving as an election worker.
Election workers are as vital to the election process as are the candidates, political parties, and the media. They are responsible for opening the polls on the morning of the election, keeping order and ensuring election procedures are being followed throughout the day, closing the polls, and securing and delivering ballots at the end of the day. Most important, election workers put a face on the election process and they make voters feel good and confident about voting. Without their time, energies, and dedication, elections simply would not happen.
By giving one day of work as an election inspector, judge, or clerk, you can give back an abundance of thanks and gratitude to your community, state, and country for all that they provide. And, serving as an election worker allows you to help deliver and secure one of our most important and revered freedoms - the freedom to vote.
