Statutory authority: NDCC, Chapter 10-35

The 60th Legislative Assembly of the State of North Dakota adopted House Bill 1340 enabling the North Dakota Publicly Traded Corporations Act, N.D.C.C., chapter 10-35. This Act only applies to publicly traded corporations created after July 1, 2007, and then only if the publicly traded corporation chooses to be affected. A publicly traded corporation need not incorporate under the provisions of this Act; it may incorporate under, and only be subject to, the provisions of the Business Corporation Act, N.D.C.C. chapter 10-19.1.
