This online, interactive investor education program teaches and empowers students to detect and stop a one million dollar investment fraud and put the mysterious con man, "Mr. X," behind bars. Through this free resource, students will learn how to research companies and understand the warning signs of fraudulent investment pitches.

A great web site with numerous financial calculators for budgeting, savings, credit cards, retirement, home mortgages and many more.  This website is for all ages. 

Consumer Jungle

Online interactive teaching tool aimed exclusively at preparing kids under the age 18 to become responsible consumers. The site provides information about credit card use, car buying, choosing phone and online services, renting apartments and other important life skills in a format that doesn’t put students to sleep.

Federal Reserve

A web site of the Federal Reserve to educate economics and social studies classes about the Fed’s history, how it changes short-term rates and has a quiz to test users knowledge.  Games and simulation available for K-12 students. 

Jump$tart

Jump$tart’s web site provides a database of over 250 high quality education materials and multiple additional web sites for students in grades K-12. The web site also contains 12 principles that every young person should know about personal finance and contains a mini-lesson for each month.

Stock Market Game Website

The North Dakota Securities Department is dedicated to providing students with an increased understanding of the American economy, enabling them to become more informed citizens, consumers, future employees and employers. The Stock Market Game is an electronic simulation of Wall Street trading, designed to help students and teachers understand the stock market, the costs and benefits involved in decision-making, the sources and uses of capital and other related economic concepts.
