TFFR Purchase of Service Cost Table

Active TFFR members who meet certain conditions are eligible to purchase service credit to use toward retirement eligibility and benefits. See Purchase Service Brochure for additional information on type of credit and eligibility requirements.

The cost to purchase most types of service credit is calculated on an actuarial equivalent basis. (Exceptions: USERRA military service and TFFR refunds paid within five years of returning to TFFR covered employment.)

The following table will provide an estimated cost to purchase service credit at the actuarial equivalent. DO NOT send TFFR purchase payments based on this information. For actual purchase eligibility and cost information, contact the administrative office.
