The North Dakota Veterans Home is located on the south edge of Lisbon.

Directions to get to the Veterans Home are the following:

From Bismarck: Get on I-94 E towards Fargo (128.8 miles), take the ND-1 S exit 288 towards Verona/Oakes ( .2 mile), then turn right onto ND 1/113th Ave SE (19.5 miles), Left onto 54th St SE/ ND -46. Continue to follow ND-46 (19.1 miles). Turn right onto 131st St SE/ND-32. Continue to follow ND-32 (13.3 miles). Turn left into 8th Ave E (0.2 mile). Then turn right onto Rose Street (0.6 miles). It’s about 180 miles total.

From Fargo: Get on I-29 S towards Sioux Falls (15.2 miles), to exit 48 toward Kindred, turn right on to ND-46/54th St SE (40.2 miles), turn left onto 131st St SE. ND-32. Continue to follow ND-32 (13.3 miles), turn left onto 8th Ave E (0.2 mile), and turn right onto Rose Street (0.6 mile). It’s about 70 miles total.

From South Dakota Boarder: On I-29 N towards Fargo (22.2 miles), take the ND-13 exit, Exit 23 (.04 mile) turn left onto ND-13 W towards Mooreton (14.6 miles), turn right onto ND-18 (12.8 miles), turn left onto ND-27 (25.9 miles), turn left onto Broadway St (0.3 mile), turn right onto 9th Ave E (0.1 mile) and then left onto Rose Street (0.5 mile). It’s about 77 miles from the South Dakota Boarder.
