Board Memberships

The State Treasurer serves as a member of the following entities by law:

• Board of Tax Equalization
• State Historical Board
• State Investment Board
• Teacher's Fund for Retirement Board
• Board of University and School Lands
• State Canvassing Board

Treasurer Schmidt is also a member of the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST) where she serves as Regional Vice President representing the Midwest on the executive committee. She currently serves as Chair of the NAST Foundation which oversees the educational activities of the foundation including the National Institute for Public Finance, the New Treasurers Symposium and initiatives to promote financial literacy.
