Medicare Part D

The annual enrollment period for Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage) is Nov. 15-Dec. 31 every year. The North Dakota Insurance Department encourages you to compare your plan every year during this time.

What you need to do a Part D plan comparison
  • A list of your medications, including dosages and frequency
  • Your Medicare card
  • The full name of your current plan
  • If you received a yellow retrieval card from the Department, bring it with to expedite assistance.


  • Medicare Part D open enrollment events (click for schedules)

    Bismarck, Devils Lake, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Williston, Minot, Dickinson, Wahpeton, Fargo and Valley City (Plan to spend at least one hour at these events.)

    Cavalier, Drayton, Langdon, Mayville, McVille and Park River

    Kenmare
    Mohall
    Velva
