Guaranteed Issue: means a company will issue a Medicare supplement plan regardless of any health problems.

Underwritten: means a company may choose to accept or deny your application based on your health status or other risk selection factors.

Open Enrollment in Medicare Supplement: a six month open enrollment period begins the first day of the month in which you are both age 65 or older and enrolled in Medicare Part B. During this time you may purchase any Medicare Supplement plan sold in the state regardless of any health problems.

Rating: The ratings shown are established by the A.M. Best Company and are a measure of the company's overall financial strength. NR means not rated and ratings beginning with FPR are delayed ratings.
