Would you know what's missing?
A room-by-room inventory of your house makes it easier to file an accurate, detailed insurance claim in case your home or property is damaged, stolen or destroyed in a disaster. Creating an inventory takes time, but it can save you time and frustration down the road.

Choose one of the inventory checklists below to help you create a record of all your possessions.
  • Break up the task by creating your inventory one room at a time or by category, such as appliances or furniture.
  • Include photos or video of every room.
  • Store the inventory away from your home in a safe place.
