ND Assigned Claims Plan

The North Dakota Assigned Claims Plan (ACP) is an association made up of auto insurance companies selling no-fault insurance in North Dakota. The ACP, established by ND Cent. Code 26.1.41.18, provides basic no-fault benefits to individuals injured in automobile accidents if they suffer an economic loss as a result of the injury.

In order to be eligible for benefits through the ACP, an individual must, through no-fault of his or her own, be ineligible for no-fault benefits through an insurance company or the available no-fault benefits must be less than is called for under the contract because of the financial inability of the insurance company to pay.
