Hamm invites agents to annual Insurance Department forums Posted on 9/28/2011
BISMARCK, N.D.-North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm invites insurance agents from around the state to attend the Insurance Department's annual agent forums, scheduled for Oct. 10-14.
Hamm, along with other Insurance Department staff members, will visit seven cities in five days to talk to agents about 2011 legislation, health care reform, agent ethics, life and health insurance issues, and property/casualty issues and trends. Attendees will receive three hours of continuing education credit, including one hour of ethics.
"The agent forum meetings are a great way for the Department to connect with agents and talk about what's going on in the insurance industry in North Dakota," Hamm said. "I encourage all agents to attend one of the meetings."
