Hamm revokes Fargo insurance agent's license Posted on 9/8/2011
BISMARCK, N.D.-North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm has revoked the license of Jeffrey David Neppl, a Fargo insurance agent who is alleged to have misappropriated a client's money for his own personal use. The revocation bars him from selling, soliciting or negotiating insurance in North Dakota.
Neppl is alleged to have accepted money from a client, applied the money to his own personal use and failed to invest the money on behalf of the client.
"This revocation ensures that Mr. Neppl can no longer work with North Dakota's insurance consumers." Hamm said.
The Department issued a cease and desist order against him in March.
Neppl consented to the revocation, waiving his right to an administrative hearing. Consumers with questions about insurance policies through Neppl are encouraged to call the North Dakota Insurance Department at 1-800-247-0560.
