Temporary Registration

Temporary Registration: Accompanying vehicles traveling with a nonresident custom combine operation are subject to temporary registration. This would include, but is not limited to, personal vehicles, semi-trailers, and trailers. Ex. The vehicle towing an overwidth mobile home would be subject to temporary registration.

Pick-up trucks that are ½ ton and larger must obtain temporary registration for 10,000 pounds or double the empty weight.

When the power unit is pulling a trailer (or towed vehicle), the registered weight on the power unit must be for the combined weight of the power unit, trailer, and load; or combined weight of the power unit and towed vehicle.

Temporary registration must be purchased for a minimum period of 3 month on or after June 1st.

Only accompanying vehicles traveling with a nonresident custom combine operation qualify for temporary registration.
