Colonel James Prochniak, superintendent of the North Dakota Highway Patrol, announces that Troopers David J. Kolness, Scott E. Stoczynski and Michael R. Wald graduated from the Highway Patrol Academy on July 27, 2012. These troopers have been assigned to the Highway Patrol’s Northwest Region and will be stationed in Williston. The troopers have completed 20 weeks of academic and physical training at the North Dakota Highway Patrol Academy in Bismarck. Upon arriving at their assigned post, the troopers will begin a field training program.
Trooper Kolness graduated from Alexandria Technical College with an AAS degree in criminal justice. Trooper Stoczynski graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Trooper Wald graduated from Minot State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
