Colonel James Prochniak, superintendent of the North Dakota Highway Patrol, announces that Trooper Carl N. Kent II graduated from the Highway Patrol Academy on June 24, 2010. Trooper Kent has been assigned to the Highway Patrol’s Northwest Region and will be stationed at Williston. Trooper Kent has completed 25 weeks of academic training at the North Dakota Highway Patrol Academy in Bismarck. Upon arriving at his assigned post, Trooper Kent will begin eight weeks of field training which will conclude the end of August.
Trooper Kent graduated from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation.
