BISMARCK, ND − Superintendent of the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) Colonel James Prochniak announces the retirement of Trooper Darryl P. Bulzomi. Effective July 31, 2012, Trooper Bulzomi retired as a sworn officer from the NDHP after 29 years of distinguished service.

Trooper Bulzomi began his career with the NDHP in July 1983 by attending the Highway Patrol Academy. He served in Washburn and Carrington, working in traffic enforcement. Trooper Bulzomi was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in June for serving with merit and distinction.
