COMMERCIAL CARRIER COMPLIANCE RATES SHOW MARKED DECREASE IN WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA

Bismarck, N.D. - The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) Motor Carrier Operations recently completed a four day enforcement saturation of commercial motor vehicles. The saturation took place in northwestern North Dakota between the dates of October 11 – 14, 2011.   NDHP motor carrier troopers and inspectors from across the state participated in the event.

(Bismarck, ND) – National School Bus Safety Week will be held the week of October 17-21, 2011.  The annual event is an active and evolving public education program designed to promote school bus safety.  Ongoing education, training, proper maintenance and traffic enforcement efforts all combine to ensure that public school buses remain the safest form of transportation for North Dakota students.
