Colonel James Prochniak, superintendent of the North Dakota Highway Patrol, announces the promotion and reassignment of Trooper Mitchell J. Rumple. Effective March 1, 2010, Trooper Mitchell Rumple was promoted to the rank of sergeant and reassigned to Jamestown as a sergeant in the Southeast Region. Sergeant Rumple began his career with the Highway Patrol in March 1989 by attending the Highway Patrol Academy in Bismarck. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the Devils Lake Highway Patrol District and stationed as a trooper in Rolla.
