The Poultry Division regulates the movement of chicks, hatchling eggs, breeder flocks and hatcheries for compliance with the National Poultry Improvement Plan which is designed to reduce or eliminate major poultry-related diseases.

The division also enforces licensing and bonding requirements for poultry dealers.
