Mini-grants available for agricultural education
BISMARCK – The North Dakota FFA Foundation is offering mini-grants of up to $500 for programs and projects that promote knowledge of agriculture among young people ages 5 to 18.
Preference is given to first-time applicants, school teachers and to requests for funds for equipment or curriculum materials.
Proposals are due Sept. 7.
Approximately $12,000 will be awarded. A grant from the North Dakota Department of Agriculture through the Agriculture in the Classroom Program provided funding for the mini-grants.
