BISMARCK – The Water Quality Advisory Committee (WQAC) will meet at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 28, in the Fort Union Room of the State Capitol in Bismarck.

The WQAC advises the North Dakota Department of Agriculture (NDDA) on groundwater and surface water issues related to pesticides and on water quality monitoring. The committee is comprised of representatives of NDDA, North Dakota Department of Health, U.S. Department of Agriculture – Natural Resource Conservation Service, North Dakota State University Extension Service, U.S. Geological Survey, North Dakota Geological Survey, North Dakota State Water Commission, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, North Dakota Game and Fish Department and North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department.
