Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has scheduled a news conference for 11 a.m., Thursday, March 8, National Agriculture Day, in the Memorial Hall on the first floor of the State Capitol.

The commissioner will announce the winners of the 2012 Pride of Dakota essay and poster contests. Representatives of the North Dakota Bankers Association will participate in the news conference.

Following the news conference, Commissioner Goehring will help serve a special Agriculture Day Lunch, featuring North Dakota products, in the Capitol Café.
