Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has scheduled a news conference for 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, at the Great Plains Food Bank, 1720 Third Ave. N. in Fargo.

Commissioner Goehring will announce the kick-off of the Hunger Free ND Garden project and encourage gardeners to plant and extra row of vegetables to help meet the needs of hungry North Dakotans.

Representatives of the North Dakota State University Extension Service and the Great Plains Food Bank will also be present.
