Goehring to Lead Tour for EPA Officials
BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring will lead federal officials on an environmental and technology tour and conduct two agricultural group roundtable discussions, Thursday and Friday.
“We want to demonstrate the latest in agricultural production technology and techniques to leading Environmental Protection Agency officials,” Goehring said. “We also want to give farm groups an opportunity to discuss federal regulations and policy with the people who implement those policies.”
The EPA officials are James Martin, Region 8 administrator, and Jennifer Schuller, agriculture advisor for Region 8.
Commodity groups, agricultural associations, soil conservation districts and others have been invited to the public forums.
