Goehring appoints Wald to marketing/information staff
BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has appointed Kelly Wald as a research and policy analyst in the North Dakota Department of Agriculture (NDDA).
“Kelly’s communications skills and her experience with the North Dakota Petroleum Council will be valuable assets for the department,” Goehring said. “She is an excellent writer, designer and all-around communicator.”
A native of Wishek, Wald graduated from the University of Mary with a degree in business communications. While in school, she worked as a writing intern at Basin Electric Power Cooperative and following graduation as a communications assistant with the cooperative. In her new position, Wald will research, analyze and prepare policy statements. She will also prepare other written material for the department, contribute to the website and design publications. She will report to Katie Pinke, director of NDDA’s marketing and information division.
